Connecting with our First Family

Miigizi Creations has partnered with TakingITGlobal's Connected North program to develop an Ojibwe Language and Education Resource Kit called Connecting with our First Family.  The resources include a colouring book, a deck of cards featuring 40 animals and learning activities, a deck of cards to support learning numbers and animals, a Bingo game and a poster series.

These materials have been sent to 31 Connected North partner schools who are now able to book interactive TelePresence video sessions with Nyle Johnston as a Content Provider and Story Teller.

Nyle Johnston has worked extensively to support a range of community organizations including Anishnawbe Health Toronto, 7th Generation Image Makers, Chippewas of Nawash Health Centre, TakingITGlobal, Canadian Roots Exchange, Lower Simcoe Underpass Mural Project, Bold Realities Project, Sketch Toronto and Inkdigenous Tattoo Studio and Gallery.
